Digitally Cleaning Up Hobsonville Wharf!

Last week I was out photographing Hobsonville Wharf by Architectus for use in a NZ Architecture Awards submission.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with the added bonus of some yachts racing nearby making for some interesting background activity. Although there were no ferry services operating to provide some pedestrian activity for my shots, there were a surprising number of families around looking at the display panels. Brilliant!

It was clear from the moment I arrived that I was going to be spending as much time cleaning up the images as I was shooting them thanks to the local bird population! Here’s a quick before and after my photoshop ‘washing’!

And some of the images from the day…

Good luck Architectus, hope the project wins!
